I Am Angry Today Because . . .

Angry today because...
Daughter never obtained an absentee ballot (shocker!) but really wants to vote.
Tomorrow, I have to go down to Philly to pick her up and be home in time to get kiddo off the bus.
Problem is Obamas/Clintons/Biden will be in Philly tomorrow and highways will be shut down for a time, but no one knows exactly when.
AND there is a transit strike going on (or else she'd take the train) so traffic is already a nightmare.
She's lucky we support the same candidate, or I would leave her down there (not wasting time and gas to cancel out a vote).

Drive safely - I hope you have a (relatively) stress free trip - sounds like a bit of a hassle, actually

Is it a wireless mouse? Those seem to get whacky when the batteries get low.

I read in a newspaper about a crazy lady from my home town who planned a school shooting in a high school in my home town. She had plan to kill 40 students. She had studying in the same school where she planned the attack. Thankful police caught her and now she's in the court. This really makes me angry to hear things like this.

I'm glad she was caught before she could hurt anyone! People that want to hurt children make me angry, too.

Thanks. The mother of one of the Columbine killers wrote a book, I have not personally perused, but may make interesting reading for those wishing to understand or divert disaster.

....if Mom knew so much, then he wouldn't have been one of the killers....I'm not slamming your post-just saying that no-one has the inside track on the intricate insanity that causes such hatred and death-not even the murderers......the book below though, does give some sobering and informative detail on the entire event....
