No different than America. I know people who've had to wait a month or two to get into specialist. It just depends how popular the doctor is and how many of those specialists are in your area, and whether it is considered an emergency.

I've know women with breast lumps -- something I would consider an emergency-- having to schedule and wait for biopsies.

Yup. Missed your mark, DiO. And at the end of the day, the specialist in the US might put one into bankruptcy, to boot.

You're right that sometimes I do, but not always and not in every thread. Longer wait times to see doctors and socialized medicine is merely a consequence. A medical thing. You do realize it was the two of you that made it a political thing.

This is a problem for me. People in my area are taught to be nice as pie to everyone's face, then eviscerate them the minute they walk away. I don't have that in me. Rest assured, if I don't like someone I stay away from them. If I have something to say, I say it to them. Even if I don't say it, my face shows everything (lol). So women around my area don't get me and I don't get them. *sigh*
