I didn't get the warranty with it.

There should be a 1 year warranty included with your purchase. Look for a service phone number in the owner's manual and call it. Have your serial number ready. I had a similar problem with an A/C I bought for a utility room and a service man came to my house and replaced the compressor for free. This should be covered in your regular warranty and no extended warranty should be needed.

Work. Again it happens.

We were asked by boss if anyone remembered using a certain fitting on a drawing and for what job. Nobody remembers. I do a search for that part, found the contract number and show it to co-worker.
'How did you find that so fast?"

He runs and tells boss he found where it was used. grrr.
Guess it will be hard to trust that coworker now :icon_eek::shame_pig:

Not exactly angry...just not sure where else to gripe about this.

DS was invited to his friend's birthday party at a bar. The friend is turning 19 so the parents invited a few friends who are legal drinking age. DS has never gone out drinking. DH and I do not drink. No alcohol in our house. So..DS has been looking forward to this.

Then, on the weekend he hurt his elbow. As it was not getting better, he went to the doctor yesterday. Nothing serious, but he has been put in Apo-naproxen. (Anti inflammatory, pain med.) Was told to not mix with alcohol. So, of course, he's trying to figure out when to stop taking Rx so he can go out drinking. :0:

I suggested, go with his friend, but do NOT drink alcohol. Just enjoy himself sober. Then, in a few weeks, work it out with the parents, and pick up something to bring to the house...bottle or beer. But, he needs to let this heal properly.

Would DS feel silly ordering non-alcoholic beer, ginger ale or Coke? Maybe you could help him create some jokes about it in case he's razed :)

This group he will get teased but in a laughing with kind of way, especially by the dad. But I wouldn't expect any pressure to drink, especially if he tells them why. The boys have been friends since they were 4. The teasing will likely be that he's sober and not the designated driver. (He does not want his licence.)

I just don't want him stopping the medicine for this. And he's been looking forward to it.

Good, advice, but if he whants to stop the meds then he will be in pain. Perhaps you have to let him fall, abit.

It is his choice. I'm not as concerned about pain for a few days as I am that he sets the healing back. kwim?
He has been informed, mommy does not clean up drunk-puke. My understanding is, the mixture of alcohol with the Rx increases the likelihood of upset/sore stomach.

He kind of liked the idea of showing up at his friend's with a bottle in a brown paper bag. He's such a goof-ball. He also liked the idea of going and buying a bottle.

Not really angry, tired of a lot of things.
After having to go to Philadelphia for work, not good.

Tired when I got back, trying to defend myself over 1/8 inch dimension on drawing that I had to get done. Eee-ah mf. I was right.

Took more than half hour to explain over one eighth of an inch. See? Look at the drawing.. Scaled.

The world could have ended over that. Next boss agreed. Now I have to tell boss he was wrong. eh.

Sorry, tired.

Thank you. It was ok. He was trying to figure out how the numbers on the mark-up did not work out as well. Confused as well, which made me feel better.
So I did not feel like I went nuts. Big boss had numbers wrong.

They catch me at a .06 So I'm lookin.

Well...I said it was his choice. He decided he was going and drinking. But, he decided far enough in advance and stopped taking the Rx. When he told me, I did make sure he knows he should also stay off the Rx for a few days after. I doubt he'll go back on them. I actually think his arm is fine.

He did take our advice to not take his bank card. Way to easy to overspend.

Apparently he does not like beer. He does not like rum and coke. But then he met Jack!

He did make sure he had a drive home with someone not drinking. (One of his friends was being picked up by his dad who was not staying. DS asked if he could get a drive both ways.)
...I have been well acquainted with Uncle Jack and Cousin Jim....

Angry today because of other people in the house leaving their dishes in the sink until they rot. I can't stand the smell so I break down and do them. Same thing with the cat boxes.
With 4 adults in the house, this should be the cleanest place on the block, not one person cleaning up after the other 3. Getting pretty effing sick if it.
