Not angry, really, but frustrated. SIL called The Man with a BS excuse why she can no longer have their parents for T-giving (her "husband gets back from a trip the day before, and they need to put up their Christmas tree, so there's no room for parents." But plenty for her friends and BIL and his wife. :oh:) We will ask them, of course, but it's a mess: they don't like either me or my family (who we have to have each year) so if they say yes, it will be because they can't think of any way out of it. If they say no, it will hurt The Man's feelings. Either way, my Thanksgiving is a massive stressball. My mother and my MIL in the same rooms for an extended amount of time? They can barely be civil over pie and coffee. OMG, this has 'nightmare' written all over it.

I'm having wine tonight (this is becoming a Tuesday Tradition). Anyone want a glass? St. It's Chapelle soft red :)
You could plead: Thanksgiving!! I forgot all about. I don't have time to prepare anything, we need to find somewhere else.

And husbands just don't understand the complexities of family gatherings.

I'm angry because I just started reading an "article" in The Daily Mirror newspaper and straight away I was like; "hang on a minute, that's the characters in King's new book!" And sure enough when I looked to the side of the two page article it said it was basically a review of King's book written in the style of how it would be reported in the press if it were a real situation. So the feckers have basically ruined the end of the book for me cos I read the big reveal before I realised it was King's book! I've been savouring that book very slowly, which has been hard cos I like to instantly devour my King books...and now my final 100pages are ruined!! I'm really annoyed!

Time for a letter to the editor about the meaning of SPOILERS.

They obviously thought it was a clever way to review something in the style of a reporter covering the story...it's not clever! I'm absolutely gutted. The headline (which in itself is a major spoiler) grabbed me so I started reading and the ending is instantly revealed! Even if they'd put at the beginning it was based on the book the stupid headline alone would still be a huge spoiler. I actually called them the "c" word and I never say that!

I think Ewan McGregor is yummy...and he can definitely act.

Anyhoo, suppose I may as well finish the rest of Revival now, no point saving it for small bites any longer.
And yeh, I know, it's about the journey, not the destination, yadayadayada!
I'm sorry that happened, Ally, that would piss me off (immensely) too. :(

P.S you have great taste! :biggrin2:
