It's only more hurtful because we care about them. The same act wouldn't have nearly the same impact if they didn't care about us or we about them. Enduring mistreatment is how we grow in strength by responding with forgiveness and compassion . You don't get stronger by taking weight off the bar when lifting weight, you get stronger by taking on more weight. The same is true about emotional endurance and personal fortitude.
My car is in the shop...again.
Tuesday my mom thought she would drive my car to work and I drive her car to school because of the weather. She's driving my car...and it pooped out on her. It just wouldn't go. Ford picked it up and gave her the loaner, the same one we had as last time. Don't know when I'll have my car back, but we are really frustrated :/

OH NO! You just got it back from the last pooping incident, right? Did she get home okay?
skimom2 -Yup! I only had it back for a couple of days! It started when my mom was driving during her lunch break from work, but she was able to get back okay

Thank goodness! This time of year, a dead car away from home is no joke. Hoping that the mechanic can locate the problem (and that your price is minimal because they missed it in the first place).skimom2 -Yup! I only had it back for a couple of days! I am angry today because my colleagues from the department I am working in now quarreled over the problems at work. At such difficult times we should be strong and be together, supporting one another and they just argue all the time. It was a really nasty scene! And so depressing to everyone around, ruining all the team spirit.

I hope things get better, but it's pretty bad, the crisis is strong here. Maybe something will improve in 2015.

I didn't no. But I did help a couple of chipmunks with a flat tire a few days ago. I believe they were in a Subaru though....
I'm not really angry just very annoyed. Now I know why I hate Facebook so much... it gets so necessary to keep up with people by, like a dayplanner, but it's completely unmoderated. I went to a birthday party a couple of friends threw for their seven year old son last night so I missed The Walking Dead. I go on Facebook today to drop a message to friend there who recorded it to see about watching it tonight and get slammed full in the face by another post by someone else, yes they're a friend too, but apparently not very discreet about some things, that totally, majorly spoils me on last night's episode. I so did not want to know that!
I am angry today because all the lights went out again. I just showered and used the blowdryer.

Then they apt people came over, after I called, polite. He put a lit flashlight in my face and told me that I must have a defected blowdryer, and it is not fault of the apts.
They replaced GFI, and made sure to tell me how much that costs them..

Sounds like your apartment is uncomfortably roont....
I keep it very nice. Death by cabinet, dancing with the thing, trying to hold it up for some reason. Ended up under all my china and crystal - and now a blowdryer is trying to take me down..
