I have the same problem. Are you running WindowsXP? When I get the gobbledygook I have to close down the browser and restart it.

This happens to me on occasion when I click on a link that's been posted here, the link opens in a new window, I read the story, close it and then get what you two are describing. Missing text, quotes etc.

1) Horrible book is almost finished! Once the review is off, I can pick up something to read that I like and sit in the sun for a while today. I love late spring :)

2) Oldest son has come out of the reading closet he's been in since about age 13 (lol), when a camp counselor teased him for bringing the last Harry Potter to camp to read (not so funny). He's seriously been reading in secret, pretending he doesn't like books. I bought him The Revenant for Christmas on a whim, and he loved it. When he asked for book suggestions ("Where are your Stephen King paperbacks?" was the exact question :D Sadly, I only have one.) I had a hard time restraining the urge to overwhelm him. Anyway, that makes me REALLY happy :)

I watched a segment last night on Georgia football player Malcolm Mitchell (who was just drafted by the New England Patriots – BOO HISS! :)). Excellent human interest story on the power of reading. He’s even written a children’s book... “The Magician’s Hat,” that is about a magician named David whose power is through books.

All my bills got paid off this morning!!
That must feel so great!!! Congratulations!

I just went to ancestry.com and ordered the test. It gets to me in about a week. I spit in some testtube or something and send it back. It takes 6 to 8 weeks to get my results. I hope I have some really oddball thing in there like Maori, or swedish or maybe oompa loompa or something.
Oompa Loompa! I'm excited for you. I want to do this too!

For a day that started crappy, it's ending well :). I got the nicest note from one of my CCD kids, and we made our first attempt at home made sushi, plus summer rolls with peanut sauce, and teriyaki tofu (all of which we've made before). First time making homemade pickled ginger, too. finished it off with a lovely pot of green tea (because we forgot to put it on the table for dinner--lol). Now I'm listening to the littles (well, 10 and 17) playing chess and giggling. :)
That looks delicious!! You amaze me! I've got those very same little blue dipping bowls.

Me and my girlfriend are going to Spain for a week.
Have a great time! Spain looks beautiful - I've always wanted to go.
