I am at home today and supposed to catch up on cooking, cleaning etc. as I am working this coming weekend.
(All I want to do is sleep right now - feel like I am coming down with a slight flu or cold at the moment).

- maybe I should go down for a wee snooze - nothing else actually planned - I can put the stuff I made in my slow cooker in a low oven and go have a sleep - I think my body is telling me to get more rest
Hi everybody!!! I'm back again. Not here often I know, but have been quite busy taking care of hubby who recovered quite well from surgery. I am also finishing writing my third novel. So, I'm happy today, because I will attend a book event on october 15, presenting my 2nd novel for a book signing. It will take place in my home town, so it's quite fun for me. No travelling, no search for parking and most of all, my family and friends will be around. Here's a pic of Ray with a ''corset'' again. Except this time, it's not grey and depressing like the other one 4 years ago. Horses are ''Kings''.

I remember what a nightmare kindergarten was. My wife and I were afraid to pick up the phone - the school called us almost daily. Thank Gan we got this under control.

I used to go into panic mode every time my phone rang.
His new school is only for the most severe special needs students (it's so specialized, there are only 18 students in the entire building)...they've seen it all, so they don't call.

I'm happy today because finally I am next in line for The Fireman at my library!
It finally stopped raining enough for me to take all the flower containers that are staying inside for the winter and put the plants that are coming inside in those pots and remove those plants which are not, and set the flower containers up in the kitchen window where they all look great!
