I see it is apparently 14 F where you are - hurray!

(Well in your State anyway) :onthego::snowman:

It is 1 F where I am :tickled_pink::thumbs_up::victorious: (not sure what it is with the wind chill)

Nice and sunny at least - a good day to drive to the mall and do some shopping
:shopping:
It was only a couple of degrees above zero here - but 35+ mph winds. Hello arctic wind chill once again. *Sigh* Maybe tomorrow will be better. Hope you had fun shopping! :)

Just went grocery shopping but it was at Superstore so it took quite a while (big Chinese New Year sale on).

Got some nice pine cones mixed with cinnamon sticks for only 94 cents!

I am happy and blessed today because a precious SKMB friend sent me Charlie The Choo Choo!! Was recently feeling a wee bit sorry for myself because I haven't been able to buy anything SK related in a very long time (I know, shame on me for the pity party! :a11: ). This gift was such a surprise and so very appreciated.

This same friend did something incredibly nice for me a few months ago. Don't want to "say" too much because it might already be obvious who this member is and I don't want to share without permission.

Just want this friend to know I am so grateful for the friendship and generosity. I was sent a book from this person many years ago. I was completely stunned by the random act of kindness and realized there are still good people out there. I started to pay it forward by gifting SK books whenever I can and that has brought me so much joy. The power of kindness is remarkable. :love_heart:

Still feeling good that I was able to do a tripod headstand at yoga last night. Never have been able to do a full headstand even as a kid, but with a couple more years of yoga might get there. Just in time for my granddaughter to be old enough to do one and ask me what's the big deal, Nana. At least one of us would be impressed. ;-D

Very happy lately and praying that posting this won't jinx it, but (drumroll please)...

The kiddo has had a good day at school EVERY DAY so far in 2017. :lol2:

This is HUGE. I can't even tell you the last time we had more than two good days in a row.
So we may be looking at him going back to a "regular" school for next school year.

Yay! That is so fantastic! Long may it last... I am definitely hoping for the same kind of start to '17' with my youngest, it stresses me out when I think of what a new teacher might bring. My guy starts on Jan 31st...

Sending inner calm for your youngest and a wonderful, understanding teacher. Peace of mind for you dear Flake.

because I had twenty schooners last night and I missed the last bus and started walking the 8 kilometers home and got exhausted halfway I cant remember and found somewhere in a mediam strip in a back street in Adamstown and fell asleep for 3 hours because I can time it like Jack Reacher. I've read about 8 Reacher novels and the last one, the one where the FBI woman is the crook is the only one I didn't bother reading after 100 pages or so because I knew who did it already. Also, I didn't like it because you can't hypnotise people to do something if they don't want to do it. Like on the stage a quaking like a chicken.
