And I am also happy because I had a great weekend, we celebrated the birthday of my cousin (already 4 years old, time is sure flies too fast) and I also introduced my boyfriend to the rest of my family, now his family know me and my family know him, that is soo great!

After all this time, they finally deposited money from UC into my account today.
I can go food shopping! No more noodles!
It took 98 days of zero income.
What a depressing nightmare all that time was. I was shutting in, blinds closed. Felt hopeless, really did.
Now I am going to be real careful until I find a job.

That's fantastic! I know what a relief that is, believe me. Our Canadian system is not much better. I had to wait almost 3 months myself, and that was with everything approved from the beginning. If not for friends and family, I don't know how I would have survived. That first trip to the grocery store when you get that money is the best! I am delighted for you, really.
I am happy today because I paid the car and now it's officially mine.

Lulu and I are always the first ones up; she has a treat and makes her morning constitutional, I have my coffee, and then we start waking the rest of the people. Today, though, Lulu wasn't interested in her treat or going out. She wanted to go downstairs. Down we go, to my daughter's door, and right up to her bed. Lulu went to get Louie! The dogs kissed, Louie jumped down, and off they went up the stairs for the treat, outside, etc. Really made me smile!

Tonight is very chilly. I have the fireplace on. (one of those entertainment bottom thingers) It looks nice until I get my own real one again. And it kicks out heat!
I still have about a million job apps in. But I have time now. Looking to move.
I just might go further north. Hells, bells - I have nothing to tie me to anyplace!
