One of the authors for whom I did a preliminary basic edit has sold his book and will be published soon. He's a good guy with a great imagination--I'm glad I had the opportunity to help him out

I am happy today because we are just embarking on a road trip - going to Riding Mountain National Park for a week of relaxation, taking holiday snapshots, eating in restaurants, enjoying the sights, going to the beach, shopping, sending post cards etc. etc.
Woo Hoo!
We also got a suite with a little kitchenette so we can make our all important pot of tea (or even just in cups)... Hmmm... that just reminds me - must go pack some Tetley tea bags
(Andy must have tea in the a.m. - I am happy with coffee, but he has British roots) 
p.s. Bringing the laptop too so I will pop in every now and then!

I am happy today because as much as I love trips, it is nice to be home... so I am happy today because I woke up in my own bed 
I am happy today because I just got my new laptop that I saved up for a long time for. My son did all the set up for me. I was used to a tiny little netbook and this looks huge.

Today I am happy because yesterday I was gifted a Creepshow comic book from my moms friend, she has been a Stephen King fan since before I was born. She is moving from Colorado to Florida and I went to go visit her yesterday, and she gave me her Creepshow comic book she got in 1982. She still loves Stephen King but she thought the comic book would have a good home in my Stephen King collection.
