FOREVER isn't lined out on the actual stamps. Maybe something with photographer or copyright stuff? Maybe to prevent any counterfeit activity...Kinda looks like C. Brown is being mean against USA.

I think it's a habit by officials mean to prevent people from counterfeiting the stamps.

you for letting us know about the Charlie Brown stamps. I went and got 3 books today, and one sheet of Paul Newman.Went to the post office today to mail a book to a friend. Needed stamps and the clerk showed me the brand new (just came out today!) Charlie Brown Christmas stamps. I do not buy Christmas things several months in advance, don't even decorate for goodness sake, but these were too cute to pass up. They'll probably sell out, so I bought some and they made me happy! Good grief!
