I have dabbled in Ray Bradbury, HP Lovecraft, Charles Brockden Brown, Herman Melville and a few others. I look up different genres that I like to read online. When I get the search results from top books to read in whatever genre it is that I am looking up I click on the Good Reads links to find the next book that I might like. That's how I came across "A Canticle For Leibowitz" and "The Earth Abides".

What are some of the authors that you like to indulge in other than Sai King?
I'm all over the place with other authors. I think my most favorite thing to do is to get the Best American Short Stories collection each year. You'll find a smattering of different authors to test drive. And there's always a guest editor (SK was it in 2007)
I've found some of my favorite authors that way. Currently excited to have found George Saunders 10th of December on the bargain stack at B&N. I first read him in one of those collections. He's odd in a TC Boyle kind of way.
Happy reading!
