....as most of you know, I am a Registered Nurse at Medium Security Men's Prison in Ohio and though I am not Security-we all grieve when a colleague falls, and this hits hard here-because the wounds of the Lucasville riot in '93 are thinly scabbed...if you would, please spare a moment for one of my Correctional brethren, his fellow staff and most of all-his family....

Best wishes to his family. Wish it would have had a different outcome. You watch yourself too, bro, sometimes this type of thing is contagious at other lock-ups.

When I saw this unfolding on the news my first thought was of you, Scott. I was frightened! Then I realized that you are in Ohio and were safe. You have my utmost respect and gratitude as you do a job that I cannot do either physically and emotionally. I do worry that a situation like this may occur in your line of work and I do include you in my prayers. My prayers are with those who are affected by this tragedy.
