I am so sorry. It is true that criminals are still criminals after they are locked up. It's an awful job that someone has to do and thank God someone does it while putting themselves in danger every day. Prayers to all involved.

The news showed the Vigil for the fallen officer.

Officer Wilkerson, who survived - spoke. I will not post a picture. He was weeping, and visibly beat up. It was hard to see. He only came to honor Officer Steven Floyd, and to thank him.

My thoughts and prayers for the officer and his family. Correctional Officers, Police Officers have a thankless job. Instead we should
be giving them our respect, admiration, and thanks. They all are unsung heroes.
