I know I've been under a rock lately, so I thought I would crawl out and let you guys know that all is well with the new job. Okay, truthfully, IT'S THE BEST JOB I EVER HAD...PERIOD. And to put a cherry on it, five months early, they offered me to stay permanently, not temporary! Yay! Sure all I do all day is write how monumentally sorry I am that you can't find a throw to match your couch but the point is I GET TO WRITE IT. I write all day long. Sure there are templates I could use but I write so fast I can do my required number of emails just the same.

I moved out of my roomate's place and living with my daughter for a spell rent free--can't beat that and get all the grandson loves and kisses any time I want. The goal is to save my pennies and pay of my new (for me) car, Stephen. Yes Mr. King named a demon-possessed car after me so I am naming my 2008 Hyundai Elantra after him because it's an awesome car.

No more Mr. King dreams but I did wake up with a great hook for a mystery series I've been trying to write for years. This time when I sat down, it just flowed like chocolate syrup.

I will peek in every now and then. I can now because the grandbaby is with his older brother and parents in Tulsa and I can write. Usually, he comes to the computer and says he wants to see babies kicking soccer balls or puppies chewing on babies but that's okay, it has it's charms.
