I know that in the present time that Stuart Ullman is the Manager of the Overlook Hotel, but what puzzles me is this: Who is the real owner? Reading between the lines, I get the feeling it's Danny Torrance, but I'm not certain how. Or is it Jack?

:hmm: I am not sure if i understood your question correctly. The real owner? I would say some evil forces ghosts something supernatural.
I am looking forward for the answers of the other SKMBlers.

I assumed the "owner" was essentially the hotel itself, in its true form. An eldritch being that wanted to use Danny's powers to manifest fully on our plane of existence. That's what I thought in the novel, anyway.
