Real breakfast, baby.The real breakfast version, or the spinster version?
back in the day, my favorite breakfast was pierogi with potato and onion with over easy eggs--but these days I have so many dietary restrictions it's not even funny---I have a gluten/wheat intolerance, I can't eat dairy either, I am diabetic so have to watch the carbs and because I'm on blood thinners I can't eat anything with too much chlorophyll (ie spinach, kale, broccoli, green tea, pomogranites, licorice among many, many other things). There better be a buffet in the next life or I'll be pissed!
My breakfast of choice now is Pho with lots of pale veggies and rice noodles or black beans with a steamed sweet potato.

Fried chicken the next day cold is awesome.
...after applying due diligence, I have unearthed a semi-rigid pepperoni after scouring under the couch cushions-and being of generous nature, which is only exceeded by my good looks-I'm willing to go halvesies!....

There is something to be said for foodstuffs that can lay dormant for extended period of time, that hasn't gone flaccid and probably tastes better than it did originally. Three cheers for processed meats!!!

Pulled a carrot and a cinnamon bun out of the fridge. The cinnamon bun had mold on it. I threw the carrot away. Working on the cinnamon bun.
I've got another but my wife licked all the frosting off, alas. Two actually, buns...don't anyone go there...but the other'n she took several bites and put it back in the future tomato greenhouse. All the time she's doing this...I open my lunchbox at work and there's a bite out of my sandwich...little yellow sticky note w/an alarming drawing of what she think she looks like. Have a collection of them over at the desk.
