When I read a book I just read and when I listen to audiobook I just listen. But when I read graphic novels I listen to the audible and follow along in the book . The reason is with every graphic novel that has an audio version the audio version has so much added to it compared to an audio version of a regular novel. Many sound effects added, tons of music, creaking doors ect. For example locke and key by Joe hill. If any of u have heard the audiobook u know what I'm talking about. Very entertaining. A whole cast instead of 1 person reading. The music iCal tone is awesome.
My question is the 1st book which is called welcome to lovecraft. when I listen to that on audio it's a completely different from book. Has anyone else did that and noticed. Probably not but if so the very first audio, what is that from. Did they start with book 2 or something. It starts with the prologue then goes into chapter 1 but it doesn't match text in book. Was the audio a different version of the orginal books to add drama. I did notice there is a lot of audio where in a graphic novel very little text. One page is probably 6 or 7 bubble texts at the most which doesn't translate to a lot of words. Hope I'm making sense. Ty
