Looks like my mom has had enough of my stepdad, we're either moving into a new house here in Oklahoma City or back to my hometown to live next to my grandparents (I hope we move into a new house, I really don't want to go back to my hometown). Either way, I think my mom and I will lead much happier lives without my stepdad. Pop the champagne bottles friends & neighbors!

Well, I hope you're right and good luck whatever happens.

I have to admit i'm worried about a couple of things:

1. That my mom will change her mind about leaving him.
2. That my stepdad will hurt my mom and I when we try to leave; he hasn't been violent before but that could be the thing that sets him off. He reminds of the kind of person who would climb a clock tower and start shooting people, I mean, he has no empathy or sympathy for anyone. He's so cold, he even gets mad when my mom tells me she loves me.
