Hello,
I am a long time reader of Mr. Kings work. I am hoping you can help me with a quote from one his books as I can't find which one it's from. It was something like, "Each thing I do, I rush through, so I can move on to something else. In such a way the days do pass." I had it on my refrigerator for years when my kids were little to remind me to enjoy the moment. Recently it disappeared. I would like to put the correct quote back up. It is pretty much driving me crazy looking through all of my books.
If there is a better place to ask this, please let me know.
Thank you!

Though the line appears in Insomnia, it is a quote from the poem Pursuit by Stephen Dobyns. The original can be found in his poetry collection Cemetery Nights (that book itself also appears in Insomnia) and the whole poem can be read here.

Dobyns, by the way, has a fantastic new hilarious crime novel just out called Is Fat Bob Dead Yet?
