I love the Long Walk. Does anyone know, is there a filmed version of it?? Thanks. It walks off the page...so real...

He said that he would "get to it one day". He plans to make it low-budget, "weird, existential, and very self contained".I think Frank Darabont has secured the rights, but I'm not sure whether there has been any movement on it since then.
Same. I have read it several times over. Chilling. I am always scared for the characters...what a dreadful thing to have to do...brilliantly written!!I love that story, one of my all time favorites. I really hope a film version will do it justice. I think its a story that could translate to film well. I hope he gets around to it sooner than later.
have never really watched that show!On a lighter note, this book was turned into a television series called Sex In The City.

With the right cast and the right direction etc, would be great. What a story. I would like to see it underplayed...less is more...Brad Pitt as Ray...it's like those game shows are getting strange, reality TV etc, Hunger Games, SK got there very much first. I find that horror films these days, mainstream are nothing but gorefests. Nothing left to the imagination, and everthing overdone. But Frank D makes good films as does say Peter Jackson... (especially his early films before TLOTR sagas..)!! Just my opine.
Neither have I. Just doesn't interest me at all.have never really watched that show!
Absolutely!! Any good actors that look young enough? Pitt is obviously out of the question. Too old for the part.I think Brad's days of playing a teen are long gone.
But I definitely agree with "less is more" for a film about this book.

I think sK wrote the ending such that the reader must decide what happens.
