I'm from a large city, one where they actually went on a crusade (so to speak) to legalize prostitution and actually won the case - for adults anyway. Because I was an EMT-B then and saw prostitution on a regular basis - working in Hollywood you couldn't NOT see it - and of children doing it I heartily disagreed with legalizing it even for adults. I hadn't seen anyone start prostitution as an adult, they were all 15 or younger and we saw them because they were assaulted in every way possible, some even murdered or died en route to the hospital.
Other than seeing it affect people in a negative way, I had no problem with it. I'm not very moral I guess. Living in Los Angeles has a way of undoing small-town (where I grew up) morality. That's also why I don't have a major issue with gay people but everyone in my family, who stayed in small towns, still do have a real big concern with it.
Anyway, I can't vote for either of those answers because neither of them is true for me. I don't judge people for what they do when it doesn't hurt another person. If they killed someone, I might think they're idiots but not just because they do something that isn't hurting another person.
Being a paramedic, I slowly grew into this attitude that if you're not hurting another person, I don't mind what you do. After seeing people harm other people in ways I never could have imagined before I saw it with my own eyes, someone believing different just doesn't bother me anymore.

Welcome aboard!

As an official nonjudgmentalist, I would just observe that we make money and conduct our lives by selling each other food, shelter, clothing, all basic primal drives. There's just one primal drive that's illegal for sale (although plenty legal for free), and the only reason I can make for it has everything to do with attitude and very little about a market existing for it. We are a strange species sometimes.
