Tomorrow, I have to go to Ticketek to buy tickets to the ice-hockey game(s) being played here in Australia between Canada and America. A second cousin of mine used to play in the NHL.

Canadiens got bounced out of the playoffs tonight 
Bruins didn't make it to the playoffs. They didn't deserve it
I'm OK with any other team winning the cup except the Canadiens. Well, maybe the Rangers, too.

Back in the bad old days, we lived close to Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. My Mom would get tickets to see the Maple Leafs vs. Montreal Canadiens - she cheered for the frogs
(she was Scottish but Dad was from Quebec).

Native Bostonians are born Bruins fans and have an inherent hatred of the Habs!
It stems from the Habs kicking our Bruinish bottoms in the majority of their playoff meetings

Baseball is my favorite as well. Unfortunately, my Red Sox are pretty terrible right now
I am impartial, but I usually go for the underdog, so I'll be going for the USA.

Always enjoyed watchin' 'em though, live and on stage, on tv, nah not so much, think I'd druther watch golf whilst gougin' me own eyes out with a rusty pox infected lead spoon...yeah so much for golf, now put that snooze fest on ice skates with copious beatin' the tar out of each other, and just maybe we got somethin' there
