How many authors can we say were there from the typewriter to the Iphone and managed to hold so much attention while most attention was lost.

Do you realize you will be an author that people read forever and I mean forever.

Some authors might be forgotten. But I know that you will be Legendary. You are legendary now. I don't think Lee Child novels or even John Sanford novels will be talked about for hundreds of years but I know yours will. Different books you have written will be studied from elementary school on up through the ages the same way Lord of the Flies and Moby Dick are. You haven't just wrote horror novels or emotion novels. Its like you have created a new form of literature. One that can sweep from childhood to the golden years. You have books that will take people who don't like to read to reading for fun. How many authors can we say made us horrified, happy, sad angry, disgusted, as a child and also made us feel emotion as adults. How many books can one person write where you just will not put the book down until your eyes are bleeding. How many authors can we say wrote books with so much emotion that it is hard to sleep at night because you are tripping over what you just read. How many authors can we say were there from the typewriter to the Iphone and managed to hold everyone's attention when so much attention was lost. I just want to say that I appreciate it now. I am not sure you think about it or wonder. But you are a living-legend. And I do not mean in the number one fan celebrity way like brad pit or Justin Bieber. But in a way that means something. Like the Beattles. I just find it amazing that I am able to be a part of history in in the sense that I am here while it is taking place.
It is just something special to watch a little kid put down there phone and pick up Cujo. Its even better to know that I put down my Sega and picked up Hearts in Atlantis.
In the world of youtube and Iphones and instant violence you are still able to hold the worlds attention. Somehow we can become desensitized to actual killings but not the emotion we feel while reading your literature.

I just feel like it is important to say now rather then later.
