I swear I almost hate to look at any news anymore .....

Can someone please tell me what the f*ck is wrong with people ????
I was going to post the story about the poor yorkie left in a cage in the freezing cold to die ... then I came across this story....

I physically feel ill to my stomach .... again I ask .... who are these people and can I please beat the hell out them ???

Not a story for the faint of heart ....

Dog duct taped, beaten and left to die for days finally rescued by off-duty police officer » DogHeirs | Where Dogs Are Family « Keywords: New York, Second Chance Rescue, duct tape, Bronx

I am not going to read the story- the words in the link are enough to make me sick and make me want to hurt whoever did this to that poor animal. No animal deserves this kind of treatment. NONE! I can't even watch those commercials on TV for the animal shelters- it hurts my heart too much to see abused defenseless animals. With much sarcasm in my voice I say the words of Nat King Cole: 'What a wonderful world.......'

I saw that story and I think that there are way too many mean people in the world. It reminds of a dog that was abused here a few years back . . .the abuser wrapped barb-wire around its snout.

another great human being .... really .... what I would consider justice ... is not to fine these people or put them in prison ... just do to them what they inflicted on one of these poor abused creatures ...

honestly ... I can't sleep at night because I read stories like these ....

Seems as if they are becoming more common. Sadly.

Serial Killers is what they are. Any being that abuses any living thing doesn't have a heart.
Cowards is what they are! Simple cowards- picking on something smaller and defenseless- something that looks to them for love and gives unconditional love in return only to be treated in such deplorable ways. COWARDS! :rage:

Didn't read it sorry, don't trust myself to say much either.

I hear ya baby . . .for me it has become easier and easier to just say nothing when I see such things. I think of the news reports today as The Crime Reports . . . It just hurts more to voice my pain. What gets me the most now is that I'm less shocked by such abuse.

Didn't read the article either. Something about dogs, when you can hear another news story about something bad happening to someone, it's something you can cope with usually. Just more news. But when you hear of a dog being hurt, it hurts you in a different way. So I really can't understand how people lose that natural empathy we should have with dogs, it should be pretty hard for a person to be able to do something like this.

But I think it's the same thing that makes people able to do mass shootings, somehow they've lost the ability to relate to and empathize with the suffering of others.

So well stated. I really, really, love dogs. They really are best friends. And, your post says a lot about some humans. They are not best friends. I don't understand the killing of innocent lives.

A very touching reply @Ragan

I've got to say this. When I read about the dog here that had the barbed-wired wrapped around its snout and other abuse that was done to it, I almost couldn't take watching the coverage. It hurt me so badly to watch the reports about that poor dog. It recovered with imprints of the wrappings on its snout. Still a happy dog. Still wagged its tail and somehow believed in the nature of humans.

...the headline was enough for me...hell I cry at the animal shelter fund-raising ads...here's my suggestion, in my normal, thoughtful GNTLGNT kinda way....get these assbags, rub moist dog food all over their soft and delicate places-then close them in a cage of pissed off Rottweilers that have been given Monster in their water bowls...problem solved...

The good news is that Snoopy is okay now and his trouble is in the past. The last photo of him he looks like a happy camper. there was some news from north korea...
the guy that killed his uncle had ravenous dogs chew on the man for an hour...and I thought I read that a crowd of 300 looked on. Some people are truly evil.
