If u could rename 3 of kings novels what books would u and what would the new name be. for example one of my favorites is cujo. I always thought rabid death was a perfect title. not only bc of the lives cujo took but also he dies in the end from a rabid death bc of the rabies.
Would love to here some others u think of. remember the titles don't have to be what u feel would be a better title, just different. for example you might not rename the stand bc who messes with perfection or feel u might get blasted for trying to rename a classic. it's just different titles and of course just for fun.

I finally got my wife to read king. she reads only non fiction. so she read the Christine. as I'm writing this thread she came up with death metal. not bad.

Okay, here goes:

It, changed in: ''The First Horrorclown''
Gerald's Game in '' Chained Naked Woman On A Bed'' (imagine how many new readers this title will bring in)
The Tommyknockers: ''There's A Good Book In Here Somewhere But We Forgot To Edit It'' or ''I Wrote This While Doing Coke''
Under The Dome: '' Really Thick Book''
Cujo: ''Wow, Good Book, Did I Write That?''

With tongue in cheek (I really don't like this book):
The Stand - Long, Boring, Overrated Book with Very Annoying Characters

This is the only book I would rename. I just looked over the list a few times and really feel they are all well named:
The Regulators - On Poplar Street (I like this book a lot but the title makes me think of laxatives. I think On Poplar Street really hits the nail on the head when you think about it.)

YES!!!!!! I read this book when it was first published, then again when it was re-released with even more boring pages (!) and then again a couple of years ago (just to see if my thoughts would change). Each time I could not wait for most of the characters to just shut up and die an agonizing death!

This is how I felt about Joe Hill's The Fireman. I wanted everyone to burn up except the cat. I would rename it You're Fired, Man.
