Just a thought. If you could choose any character in a Stephen King novel, and pit them in a situation worthy of a Stephen King novel, what would that situation be? Flagg is evil personified, but could he stand up to Pennywise? Or George Stark?

Interesting question. Although I wouldn't really want to cross these two mythologies, first thing that comes to mind is the young characters from The Body versus It.
I actually enjoy that idea.

Mrs. Todd...she's out driving around, happy with her shortcut, and she picks up Barry Gottfried, out and about, thumbing it again. When he was in the back seat of the fabled car...whose sequel I am anxiously awaiting...one of her springs sprung...only that was never part of the narrative...and then, later on, he ran into The Green Man, just before being run over...and the Green Man whispered some words of wisdom in Barry's ear (collect aluminum, collect valuable prizes)...but it was the touch on the shoulder that turned the trick and Barry is a goner. Or wait now...not The Green Man...that wino, yeah, him, he saw Barry...or something. So, yeah, Mrs. Todd and Barry Gottfried. See, when the spring sprung, it gave Barry some of what she had and now he has it. And so it goes.
