What prompted me to this message board is that I've read a few books on kindle by "Stephen King" that were horrific (pun intended) with terrible story lines, and even worse editing...Bad grammar, punctuation, etc...after doing research I found that there is another "Stephen King" trying to write in the true Kings style and people don't know it's not the real King until you're part way through the book. Why is Amazon not distinguishing that it's not truly the real Stephen King?

We have had this pointed out in the past, I can't quite remember if Ms. Mod had mentioned contacting Amazon in regards to having that clarified, or not.

I emailed his site to let them know but don't know if I used the correct contact email. It's just unfair to SK and to his faithful readers who spend not only money, but more importantly precious lost reading time we'll never get back. I'm die hard SK and not happy about being dupped. From now on I'll check the SK web site and make sure a book is definitely on his list before I buy. Thanks for your response!!

Ms. Mod is Stephen's personal assistant, so if you used the email attached to the main site the message will have made it through.
I'm struggling to remember her earlier response in regards to the 'other Stephen King', but I think it may be that this writer is legitimate, even though they take no pains to distinguish themselves from our Stephen.

Unfortunately it does come down to the reader being a bit careful to research a little before purchasing electronic material... it's tough though I know and doesn't seem fair, but I think (if I am remembering correctly) that this might be all we can do about that.

We have a comprehensive list here in our Library to help folks know for sure, which stories are his.

I will definitely use his library from now on. I just pre ordered "The Bazaar of Bad Dreams". I also collect as many of his books in hard back as possible but now unfortunately it looks like some are now only kindle availability....dang! I still love the smell of a good old fashioned book...Thanks for your advice!
