Who says these cups are inappropriate, they are appropriate at least to character; buzz light year goes up up and away, and bells go ding dong.
Batman's face is more convincing than Shelley Duvall.
Oh c'mon, just 'cause she's not what you pictured when you read it. Did you know she had a serious flu during most of the filming? This added to working with Kubrick being = Hell by lots of actors. To me Duvall was believable and an appropriate casting choice for Kubrick's vision.

. Shelley is a lovely person in real life. I am so sure. And yes, absolutely fabulous as Olive Oyl. But, she weren't no Wendy. I knew Wendy, and Shelley, sir, was no Wendy.Too bad Tony didn't kill her in the apartment while Jack was interviewing. Jack could've picked up a hot little number, with acting chops, on his way up the mtn -- at a Stuckey's.
