If I did write and/or direct a movie with Molly Ringwald, I'd put her in a role where she would go completely bonkers, chewing whatever scenery she'd get her hands on and displaying the genuinely frightening mania that was only hinted at in earlier roles. There's a reason I consider her the Klaus Kinski to my budding Werner Herzog. But what kind of character would she play? I've had a few ideas.

-A mental patient.
-A very eccentric heiress.
-A mad scientist, kind of like Rotwang from Fritz Lang's Metropolis
-A witch.
-A vampire. Not the beautiful kind, but more like Orlok.
-A deranged fundamentalist missionary in the jungles of South America. Think something along the lines of Aguirre, the Wrath of God.
