....after our Kon blast...Tracy whisked me away Wednesday and Thursday, for a couples getaway in Amish Country....we started our fun with a trip to "The Farm at Walnut Creek"...a working Amish farm, but also a 150 acres plus exotic animal preserve...and we took a wagon ride amongst the beasts...got to hand-feed everything from a baby bison to a giraffe!...here's some pics of the place...

...on the way home, we swung into the David Warther Museum...fifth generation Master Carver....it's worth your while to Google Warther Carvings, but David specializes in scale model ships made entirely from ivory-legally obtained....he has been carving since age 17, he's now 55-and has made it his goal to build 100 ships, he's currently at 82, and averages about 2 a year...now mind you, the pic below shows "Old Ironside" and everything you see is made from ivory-including the thread thing rigging...
