Sounds like there was quite the talent filming in Alberta for this movie. I do not think that Leonardo would get a cold from being in a cold climate, though. He, also, got a chinook confused with global warming lol. The technical talent always amazes me, when I hear about movies being made.

Interesting stuff, there. I knew that natural lighting had been used in the entire film (which is a VERY difficult feat in and of itself!) but not about the rest of it. It will definitely win the Oscar for cinematography!

Haven't seen it yet,but definitely will,I was a big fan of the mountain men when I was a kid..Jim Bridger,Kit Carson, and the story of Hugh Glass was well known..of course the movies take their liberties with the real story, but it will be fun to watch..little known fact, the movie Jeremiah Johnson was based on a mountain man, known as "Liver Eater" Johnson, because it was rumored he ate the livers of his enemies..:wink-new:

Quite right. His best quiet part was when he was floating to the bottom of the Atlantic.....

I don't care where they film it, as long as they get it right. I'd love to see a director with the passion and perfectionism of Frank Darabont get a hold of the DT project. But, alas, directors don't seem to care about the story anymore. Seems like they're all just out to make a buck...
It all started when the movies began to be promoted as 'Directed by So-and-so' before the title of the movie.
