I was trying to skip by this one but, as fate would have it, I looked. My comments may cause most to hate me here but I really do not care because, obviously, many of you do not care or have any respect for military soldiers that have fought long and hard with many sacrifices against terrorism which is the modern name piracy. Pirates were the worst and ugliest terrorists our history has to offer. Not one had everbeen involved in anything heroic or entertaining unless you are entertained by mass child rape, pillaging of native people, kidnapping, torture of the innocent for fun the more innocent the victim the more fun, women were worthless only to be used for menial activities or to hold the European Monarchies in a show, near genocide of the Native American Indians, near destruction of the entire western culture and in modern times the terrorists are the direct descendants of pirates called Marauders before that. The cross bones symbol is an insult and is to take credit for the torture and crucifixion of Jesus on a cross at Skull-Point. The colorful gowns worn by these terrorist pirates was their declaration of royalty and to continue their hobbies of insulting birds and the name William. They changed their name from Marauders to Pirate by switching the vowel sounds in parrot.

No disrespect but, to make such evil a toy of fun and even a children's hero is what is disrepectful and unhealthy at best. One should not make the villains of the past to the fun pasttime of the present.

Hope you still like me...but it is not a requisite

...no offense taken...time has glossed over and dumbed down many horrendous things, much to my chagrin...

That is true. Just can't get used to glorifying evil crap from the past when such things should stay in the past and be remembered only for the terrible times they were so they do not happen again. I find it irresponsible to attempt to make the pirate (pre-terrorist name) a hero and fun to be. I would rather just drop the subject. We can spend time on something much better...

My recommendation would be to stay out of this thread and let those who wish to participate do so. We are all different people with different ideas and sensitivities. It's just a fact. I hear what you're saying and I respect your thoughts on it.
