Well I guess that can be a loaded question. For me when I saw it it was a beautiful glorious movie. So I think it is a great movie. I just went and checked out some of the first posts you wrote to me when I first started here like under if I could ask king one thing and newbie and it is.....the most insane brain connection I have ever had..but it just won't go away.:rofl::hopelessness::hopelessness::rofl::rofl:

Oh thank god. I would like to buy one copy of all of stephen kings books! So far I only read them when I come across them in the local basin book trader store or at the library. I was checkin out the website for that bookstore in maine and realized there is a ton of stuff I have yet to read. But at the same time I dont want to read it all because then I will have nothing left to read........lol

Agreed - also worth a read is the source Graphic Novel by Alan Moore. It is very 1980's as it was a critique of the British Government (contrary to Meryls Streep's performance, Maggie Thatcher was an incredibly divisive leader - many here still curse her name) but excellent.

Alan Moore is a writer who actually hates adaptations of his work, refuses to even watch them and has now started making sure he holds the film rights to any new works. Film adaptations include V for Vendetta, Watchmen, From Hell and League of Extraordinary Gentleman. Oh and he created John Constantine.

Ok - history lesson over.

Watchmen, sigh. One of my favorite books ever.
