An interview with me (the illustrator) and author Bonny Becker where we talk about things that go bump in the night and sometimes the those things are also a lot of fun for kids. Our new picture book, TheFrightful Ride of Michael McMichael is out now from Candlewick Press. I really enjoyed illustrating something scary again and this story creates fo some great intrigue even after it's over.

Thank you all, and yes, I have been here for years. I post once in a while, but this latest picture books was such a good fit for this board I posted it. I don't often get to indulge my 'scary side' doing young reader lit. This book was a cool exception.
