I think you first have to sign up or be signed in for Twitter so I can't just put up a link directly to his page. Once you have an account, you can use the Search for @stephenking and that will bring up his Twitter account.

Had to laugh when I saw Joe (Hill)'s comment:

We won't discuss how it took 3 years for me to get a blue checkmark & it took @StephenKing, like, 3 hours, because I'M TOO BIG A MAN.

Is there a way I can follow his messages without being a Twitt? Twittee? (Crap, do you call it that?) o_O

I'm guessing they'd say Tweeter instead of Twit since that isn't a very complimentary term here. :) You don't have to actually tweet any messages to anyone--you can just follow them--but it still requires having a Twitter account--just like you'd have to have a FB account to view most pages there. Unless there's something I don't know about, but that's how I've had to do it. As with FB, you can customize your privacy settings so that it's not generally accessible.

Dang - I was hoping you were telling us you made one online. Yes, I think you do have to have a smartphone. You don't either? I just don't want to spend that much money on something I constantly lose and drop, plus I'm not sure I'm smart enough to learn how to work it.

If you have a smart phone then you can get the Twitter free application and it will be posted on your homepage on your phone. However, if you have the internet on your phone you can just go to the Twitter website and post. You don't need an app to post, you can just use the internet. The app is just easier if you have a phone since it shows up on your homepage. I would love a SKMB app for my phone! Since I always ending posting from it, but I have to go to my internet browser on my phone.

No smartphone... (I'm lost here) so... (and it's really late at night so I'm practically brain dead) I'd put in a username and password--to set up an account (using my computer) and I really don't know where to go from here. :umm:
It said "we're glad you're here, to start using Twitter, go get the app." (I can't, or can I?) So, then I try to sign in... and it says that my username and/or password is invalid. Huh?

Oh my goodness. Why does it have to get so complicated. Not you, but Twitter. Signing up for anything is such a pain! They make it so difficult even though they say it's easy. Did you check your email to confirm your account? You need to confirm your account before you start using Twitter.

No nothing in my email... I might have to come back to this tomorrow, it's very early in the morning and I'm exhausted so possibly not seeing something simple that I've missed. Thanks for your help though. :)

My husband got a picture in his email a while back from one of the raunchier chefs at the restaurant. It said "I found where Twitter is! It's between the
t**t
and the
shi**er
accompanied by a picture of a young woman's anatomy. Sorry - cannot post such a rude pic here (but it was funny nevertheless)!
