Open To All; Come having read the story and prepare to discuss it for a half hour or so among virtual friends.
I will put this one on "Watch Thread" and try to be here next Friday - my body is finally getting used to all this working out - for about one hour every afternoon once I am done work for the day.

Next Friday I will go home, have a hot bath and try to stay alert and awake until 8:30 p.m.

Before I say anything about this story - did you know Stephen King reads this story in the audiobook collection?

First words I thought when I finished this story, "Wow! He is a terrific storyteller...breathing life into dust." So what did you think?
Not quite as good as some other stories in the collection, but overall not too bad! (Especially weird at the end with the woman leering at them and pulling up her dress to expose herself - now what was THAT all about?)

Sorry - just had to throw in one more image - I think I am quite visual and like to picture things about a story

I also thought it strange about the poor woman giving birth to a monster that died only six hours after its birth. Poor Cora

It has been said that Stephen King wrote another story later on about a weird house called Rose Red - does anyone see any similarity here between this one and Rose Red? (I have not read Rose Red yet).
