Not sure if this has been discussed yet, but this poster is just amazing.

Love this poster.

Anyone ever notice that horror films tend to have better posters than, say, action movies? The latter always has a bunch of cropped heads around a central image like an explosion or something. Posters for horror movies always seem to be more creative.

Totally agree. I think another reason is that so many horror movies tend NOT to be star-driven movies, and aren't huge budget affairs. When a big studio pays a lot of money for a big star, they put that face all over the poster and not much room is left.

Some great horror posters:

Poster looks wrong. Pennywise should be looking up at Georgie from a sewer drain. Or is that changed in the movie now?
From the trailer, he is still in the drain. I think this is just a creative license/POV thing. Since the poster is elevated, your line of sight takes you from Georgie to Pennywise in a natural motion. If you had to look up and then down in the poster, it would be an unnatural motion. Sorry, that is the photographer/graphic designer in me coming out.

Found this sign on the wall at my office. Two things. I had to resist writing "It would be unwise." in a red scrawl underneath to complete the It reference. Second thing ... throwing pennies into the urinal is a thing now? What, are we creating our own personal fountains? What could possibly be the motivation? I've heard of pissing your money away, but ...

Really looking forward to September 8th!
(That is when the movie premieres here in my city [I think])
