In this case, this is true. The poor lady. I feel bad for her son who found her.
I do not drink much hard spirits. I do like some rye whiskey once in a while....the best Canadian stuff that ever existed.....Crown Royal. I never mix it or add ice. I want it neat because that is the way it should be drank. If I drink alcool, it is usually beer. Nice with a pizza or pasta dish.

The link didn't work, but it seems to me that eight liters of anything -- that's a little more than two gallons if I remember -- is a lot of anything to be drinking ... except maybe water.

This was in England - sorry to hear about it - she was only 38 and her 19 year old son discovered her dead the next day.

She was on fluoxetine and it reacted with all the caffeine from the Pepsi!

Yikes!

I think I will stick with Coke.
