Might just be me, but in your place I'd be all after grinding the old place into the dust.
But then I'm like that. If a place let me go and I went to work for a competitor, I'd bring so much (non-claused) info and so many initiatives to the new bosses to help destroy the competition that it'd make their heads spin.

BUT!!...
Congrats on the new job, Jojo. At least your life won't end up being put on an indefinite hold.

Sure, that's a gut reaction, but your never know who you may wind up working for. A boss from your last job may be your boss at another job. People move around. Plus, the management at your new job may not look kindly on your disclosing sensitive info from your last job; they could see you as a risk to them if they ever let you go. Yeah, I know I sound like a boy scout/saint, but my 35+ years in the workplace has taught me a lot.

I wouldn't disclose sensitive info. That's grounds for being sued. But I would use what I knew to formulate ideas that would, if implemented by management, give my new workplace an edge. Nor would I (or have I ever) bad-mouthed a former boss or company I used to work for. I'd just...eliminate them. :smile2:
As for bosses that had binned me once turning up as my boss again...depending on the specific circumstances (and how they'd handled it), I'd probably start looking elsewhere anyway. Not that I'll have a boss again, touch wood. *taps head*

Yes, it's always best to keep things professional no matter how ticked off you are. We had an electrician who did some jobs for us once and he caused all kinds of problems that resulted in some drama between us. When I finally got rid of him off of our jobs, I was very happy. Fast forward a couple of years and the guys ends up becoming a building inspector that we had to deal with on permit issues. I had some other guy I had trouble with that ended up getting a job as the purchasing agent of one of our best customers. You never know where your enemies will end up. ;-D

Yes, it's best not to burn any bridges, you never know.
