I'm engaged!!!!!
Here is how it went down..
I caught him sitting on one end of the sofa, and Karen on the other end. I sat in between them. I looked at him, and he was looking back at me, and I casually said, "Where's the ring?" He looked puzzled for a minute, then looked around me at Karen. That look was priceless! All Karen did was grin.
So, he went and got the ring, and he started to open the box, and I got on one knee in front of him, and said, "Larry, will you marry me?"
His face just lit up! He leaned down to me, and hugged me, and said that he would.
Then he put the ring on my finger. It is really beautiful!
So that was the big birthday present I gave him today! (It is his 46th birthday)
He hasn't stop grinning since!
He did ask Karen how I knew about the ring. She told him never to tell her a secret again!!
