You're sweet!
He used to be the best sleeper, even as a baby. Within the past few months, not so much. It's hard. Most days I'm just thankful to get through without injury or destruction.
Other days...

It's either laugh or cry..tonight, I'm choosing to laugh
That's hilarious... and heartbreaking, so true... you have to laugh in order to keep doing what you do.
(I think the biggest thing is to remember to call for help when you need it, the world we live in now understands better than it ever has, that you can't do this alone... and that it's okay to admit when things are getting too hard. Sometimes all you need is just a few hours in a row where you're not the go-to person, to get you through it.)

Is he on medication? (My client needs constant adjustments because the symptoms are ever changing.. and sometimes the drug companies no longer fund things... hugely frustrating especially when something is working and then gets discontinued.)

He has been on and off meds for a couple years (with no positive results). One of the issues we are having now is that we feel we were talked into meds by staff.
I would like to try cannabis oil (medical marijuana was recently made legal in our state) but can't find a doc to work with us to obtain it.
I could get it illegally but I won't do that for many reasons.

That's tough... feeling like you're being pushed into something you don't want. I hope you can get a doc to trial him on the oil, I've heard some quite good things about that with autism too.
