I feel really awkward about writing something here...the self-promotion thing...but I guess that's what it's for, right?

Like all of us here, I assume, I've been a huge Stephen King fan since the beginning. I just love being drawn into the vast worlds he's created for us. Me, I could barely write my name...but then after several decades I decided to give it a shot, to write a story of my own. Now, four years later it's done! A monumental accomplishment if I don't say so myself. I wrote it, edited it, designed and created the cover myself, and then self-published it. Wow! I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

I just wish I had found this forum sooner...I would have loved to get feedback from this group! Regardless, the book is out there in the real world now, sitting on Amazon like a real person. And, hopefully it will find lots of friends along the way. If not, I'm still pretty proud of the accomplishment, and I'd say to anyone here who's thinking about writing something...just go for it! Even though I had no idea what I was doing, it was an amazing experience to feel the ideas coming to me, forming into a story that I didn't even know when I started. And now, I think, it reads like someone who might have actually known what they were doing!

Well, enough babbling! If anyone is interested in checking it out, here's the link, and I hope I haven't offended...
