Oh, I can't even tell you how many times my husband has come home from work with duct tape on his pants. Never the chrome kind, though! ;-D
They make a Denim Duct Tape. Seems like and ideal stocking stuffer at Christmas. :)

One of my daughters had to make a clothing item out of duct tape for a class project. She made a dress out of denim duct tape with bright red duct tape accents. It turned out pretty nice. Of course all she did was duct tape an old dress she already had, and lined it inside and out so you couldn't tell there was a real dress under the duct tape. She must get her smarts from her dad. :)

I ripped the seems of my pants a couple of times in grammar school. I was a fat little kid. I had to sit in Sister Agatha's office and wait for my mother to bring me another pair of school uniform pants. Bad memories. :upset:
Any kid growing up and having to go to Catholic school has a treasure trove of bad memories.

Yes. Yes we do.
I was at my kid's college orientation the other day and one speaker was asking parents why many first year students get themselves into precarious situations, do poorly, or get in trouble. She called on me to give an answer. I said the "Catholic School Syndrome." She looked puzzled, and I said it’s like a Catholic school student finally getting into a public high school and going crazy because they don’t know how to handle the freedom. All the Catholics laughed and nodded in agreement. :)

I agree.
But on the other hand, at my workplace, you can tell all the former Catholic school students. We get to meetings on time and for the most part we are hard workers and do as we are told.
