I am confused. Seen it? Are you not referring to Dickens A christmas Carol? Am i missing something?

A Christmas Story - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Christmas Story is a 1983 American Christmas comedy film based on the short stories and semi-fictional anecdotes of author and raconteur Jean Shepherd, based on his book In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash, with some elements derived from Wanda Hickey's Night of Golden Memories. It was directed by Bob Clark. The film has since become a holiday classic and is shown numerous times on television during the Christmas season on the American network TBS, often in a 24-hour marathon.

Ahhhh..... Thanks for enlightening me. Had no idea. Had not even heard of it. That explains some. It is funny that it should be Bob Clark.... I remember a rather OK horror movie by him called Black Christmas that involved a creepy murderer at christmastime. Made somewhere around 1975 i think.

Kurben It's a great movie, I watch it every year with a big mug of cocoa or cider, and last year I was lucky enough to see it Christmas week on the big screen at an old timey 1940's Marquee style theater, popcorn, slushie and all. It's a DO. You should rent it up and put it on.

Im curious who Jake and his fine feathered friends are and where this production will occur.

:)

It's an American Classic. It's a bit more obscure than I had thought. Even though TBS runs a 24hr marathon each year on Christmas. I'm not sure it has reached mega-pop-culture status. Its close, but not quite there. I hope you guys watch the movie and can see the devil in the details. Totally amazing. "Oh FUDGE!"
