It was rather enjoyable, I must say. And I think I have officially hijacked your thread!
I'm sure he liked that, or you probably enjoyed that more

Okay, straight from the horse's mouth (though Julie is not an actual horse--lol): "if the actor is in the front of a crowd scene and is recognizable, the production might keep a record so that they can call the actor back for a speaking part. This has happened several times on Grimm [my note: this is how Julie started, actually! She was an extra on Grimm quite a few times, and eventually was hired for a few scenes with a line or two of dialogue. This caught the eye of directors/producers of student films in the Pacific Northwest, and now she's done a few small parts in indie movies. As a retired teacher, she thinks it's great fun!]. If the person is a part of a crowd, though, and not in front, they usually don't keep records."Awesome! Thank you so much, skimom2
Cool beans!! You stole the scene!!!I played a Kentucky State Trooper, gray uniform, Smoky-the-Bear hat, and fake gun! In the first part of this clip, you can see me right at the start walking with another 'cop' across the scene. Then, when Tommy Lee Jones is giving directions, I'm across the car hood from him. Mostly, you see the back of me and my profile, but it was the most fun to be there and see how it all works. Tommy Lee Jones was very nice, and Robert Downey, Jr. *sigh* Oh, yeah, my hair was not blonde then. Hmmmmm.

...interesting speculation on Joe's part and Danie has always been uber-cooll....re: the Lady of the Dunes, I have not done any research into the cold case, and I figure it's an avenue already explored-but I am curious about any other cold cases or similar slayings anywhere around those parts or across the country?.....
...I will look into that sweets....(the books that is).....*minutes later*..nuttin' on Ebay...might be worth scopin' out the tome that young Master Hill mentioned...I'm curious about that myself, GNT I wonder if there's a really good (or maybe a couple) of non-fiction books or anthologies people have tackled on the subject?
Looking through Joe's twitter, he posted the full image of the scene here. It's when people are coming off the ferry (from close inspection, he said it's the ferry from Wood Hole to the Vineyard):
He's wondering if there's any P-twon/Vineyard resource interesting in trying to identify the people in the Jaws clip. That would be interesting if any of them remember something from that day....
Sure it is. He would be dead to miss Jaws, wouldn't he?Is that Jimmy Hoffa in the pink shirt?

...it isn't just wishful thinking...there is some resemblance between the composite and the pic...whether it IS her will probably always be open to speculation, but I don't get the tin-foil vibe a'tall....I love Joe and all; he's cute and a good writer. But when he says "Put on your tin-foil hats and buckle up for a ride to Crazy Town, folks. I admit this one is out there" I have to agree.
