I was feeling cheap and went for the Media Mail option. Am expecting my signed copy to come in a few days. :)

I got mine yesterday (I used priority mail). My reading got sidetracked the past few weeks so I have a couple books in front of this one but can't wait. I have read one of the stories, Snapshot. It was in Cemetery Dance magazine a few months ago.

I have 3 books signed by Joe, I didn`t even know about you coul get this one signed in advance, so...most likely I will not have a signed copy this time, unless someone is going to an event and is willing to get me a book signed? I would of course cover all the costs, the book, S&H. MyLife4YouSK did it all three times for me in the past, but she is sick this time and won`t go to a signing as she had planned.
So, if somebody wouldn`t mind getting me a signed one, it would be much appreciated, if not - all good, no worries.
But I do have the e-book, will dive into it as soon as I`m done with Dan Brown`s latest.

In the past, this is how I've gotten my signed copies. Unfortunately, 10/17 was the last day to order.

Independent bookstores will usually have a visiting author sign (with no inscriptions) extra copies of their books for selling to customers who walk in their stores later and missed the actual signing/greeting events. You could call them and see if they have any signed copies. This is a regular stop for Joe so I would bet that they do.

Come on, unchain Joe so he can sign a few books.

I'm suspicious of one of the new stories where a hostage is in love with his captor. ;-D

Well, read the first two stories. The first was good. But I didn't like Loaded. It was much too wordy, introduced unnecessary characters and ended... well. It was, IMO, a long, windy shaggy dog tale. Just my opinion, YMMV.
At first, I thought, "Oh no, here comes a diatribe on gun control" when I started reading Loaded. But the more I read it the more I liked it. I loved the ending. Different strokes... :)
