I remember when Julian's Valotte album came out. Man, ol boy sure sounded like his papa. It's frickin ridiculous how he had to battle Yoko simply for his rightful share of his father's estate. God, how much money does that old witch need?

Man, if Lennon would have just stayed with May Pang things would have turned out a lot better. The Beatles probably would have reunited in the eighties and he'd still be alive today.

...I never have grasped what he saw or heard in that old skank bag....compared to her "vocal styling's", nails on a chalkboard is harmonious and her "artwork"?, let me give a crayon to my fish-and it will produce something more recognizable.....

It was Julian who sued, not Sean. Celebrity Legacies: John Lennon's EstateTrial and Heirs Blog

I remember when the issue came up, a radio DJ berating Yoko because she had cut Julian off with a sum that amounted to chump change, then was auctioning John's possessions and told Julian if he wanted any, he could show up and compete with the other bidders. The DJ rightly said she could and should do better!
Ooops - my mistake! Sorry about that - I got them mixed up.

Greedy too it seems like..... Is that so in many countries that you can write a child totally out of the will? In Sweden it is impossible. If you have a legal child or one you acknowledged as your child they have right to what is called "a lawpart" which means that the children share half of the inheritance (if they are of age) and the widow gets half. If you havent written a marriage contract that says that the man and wife keep their incomes separate and are free to dispose of them how they want in a will. But to disinherit a child is impossible.

One of the most beautiful lullabies i've heard.....

Absolutely! That whole Double Fantasy album is just tragically ironic! All those lines about the monster being gone and no rats aboard the magic ship of perfect harmony. My favorite of Yoko's on that is "Hard Times Are Over." Some of her stuff was not half bad if someone with a decent-sounding voice would record it.

Before John was killed, there was just time for my music-loving friend to listen to the album and for his review to come out in our college newspaper. He wrote that he worried about the little kid becoming spoiled, being called "beautiful" and "darling" so many times. I couldn't help thinking it was such a lucky thing John did record that, as he wasn't going to have any chance to say it again over the years. Remember, too, that he was on his way to say good night to Sean when tragedy struck.

Well, I'm no Beatles or psych expert but I think Lennon himself has said that he had mother issues, so I think Yoko filled some internal mother-shaped hole in him. I think sometimes love is weird.

He certainly had that. His mother was absent a big time of his youth. Just when they started to get closer she was killed by a lorry. Somewhere in his teens, about 15 perhaps? He lived mostly at his aunt Mimi, almost never at his real mother.

...OK Bubby, I'm lost-best of my knowledge, John ummmmm, had some "friction" with the Stones.....
The only thing i can think of is the song "I wanna be your man" that John and Paul wrote but Stones recorded. At least in the beginning i think John said that the Stones imitated the Beatles...... Their Flower-power album come just after Sergeant pepper and As tears go by came after Yesterday is two examples.

Look at her eyes, they're hard eyes. She was the daughter of a Japanese banker- if I remember correctly. I don't know if she was the catalyst for the Beatles breaking up, but she didn't help.
