Understandable. (But one cannot achieve change if they pull a Pontius Pilate. :))
If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results, then I'm ready to stop going insane and banging my head against the wall with the discussions as I admit I have no intention of going in a Republican direction and Republicans seem to share the sentiment from their side of the aisle. :smile2:

What you talkin bout willis? The Republicans have capitulated on just about everything since taking control of Congress. I swear they still haven’t come to terms with the election results. :(

Yeah, how's that for payback after all the comments about why didn't the Democrats do this or that when they had control? ;) Have to admit I've had a chuckle or two about that until I realized how truly sad it is for the country that we have these politicians (on both sides) who have to draw a line in the sand and not be willing to work together to figure out a solution that will move the country forward.

Have to agree with you there. But they still don't have the POTUS on their side (as the Dem's did), and that veto pen remains a powerful instrument.

But it appears the GOP is working with the other side, much to the consternation of many in the base. I applaud the GOP apparent working across the isle. I just wish they’d work the deals knowing they had the position of strength.
