I believe this film is out this week on home video. Looking forward to it.

Just came across this thread, so it was fun tracing the comments from the early promotion to the actual release. Did anyone here think it would be as successful as it is? This movie generated a big box-office number, surprisingly big to me. Comcast shareholders must have been happy with this one (and I believe the same studio released Minions, too; Comcast is becoming a regular Disney). Only bad thing is I believe Universal had to give up some of the profits because of a co-financing partner.

Well, I finally saw this last weekend after my gf decided she just had to buy the box-set.
All I can charitably say is, I'd still rather have the original. Hell, come to that I'd rather have Lost World. Parts of JW made JP3 look well-thought out.
Legging it from a T-Rex? Not happening, not even if science has their top speed wrong (45 mph; Usain Bolt manages around 28mph in a very short burst). Just check out the T-Rex's stride length. Two steps and it's 'oh, a ginger nut! *crunch*' Doing it in heels? Er...'lol', I believe is the term.
And Mr Dances With Raptors? Yeah, right-o.
But that ending. Jeez, where to begin? In fact, I won't. I'll just say they could have kept the hippy-dippy BS aspects.
